So when Kuoshu applied for incumbency last March, the exercise seemed a mere formality. With unanimous support from both the recent Language Department and the College of Arts and Sciences committees on cut down tenure, his dossier was sent to the office of the Provost Ahmed Abdelalwho then rejected Kuoshus request.I was very shocked, said Kuos hu, from his office in the Modern Languages Department.
